Did you know that Disney is currently celebrating World Princess Week?
This event takes place from August 20th to 26th this year and celebrates the history of Disney Princesses with special merchandise, snacks, and more. We made our way over to EPCOT to try an interesting NEW treat that stars Princess Jasmine that was released in honor of the occasion, but is it something YOU should try? Come with us to find out!
Over in the Morocco Pavilion at Oasis Sweets and Sips, we grabbed the Jasmine Pomegranate Yogurt Drink for $6. It’s made with Pomegranate, Vanilla, and Buttermilk.
We found this to be light and refreshing with an interesting taste! The buttermilk and the pomegranate together almost give it a bit of a sour bite, but it does a great job of mimicking an almost Greek yogurt taste.
When we tried the drink, we found that the middle kind of clumps together as it melts — forming one big ice ball. Our recommendation is to grab a straw or spoon to break that up as you’re drinking it so it doesn’t harden too much.
Overall, if you’re a fan of Greek yogurt and that sort of almost sour flavor, and you want a refreshing and light drink to cool you down, we say totally give this one a try! If you’re someone who is picky with flavors or textures though, this one may not be for you.
