Magic Kingdom is celebrating Halloween from August 11 – November 1, and Golden Oak Outpost is serving a Tombstone Tart for the occasion. The tart is available during regular park hours, and guests at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will also find Loaded Sweet Potato Fries on the menu.

Golden Oak Outpost is on the Frontierland side of the walkway to Adventureland.

Flaky pastry filled with strawberry-jalapeño jam and topped with sprinkles and sugar spiders

 Another winner. The pastry is actually buttery and flaky, filled with a decent amount of jam.

The artificial strawberry called to mind a Pop Tart or Nutrigrain bar, but with a slightly spicy kick of jalapeño (it’s not strong or overwhelming).

The icing was creamy and sweet, completing the treat. It’s a cute presentation and a creative flavor palate, making it a favorite of ours and something definitely worth a try.
