Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe MNSSHP 2023 Menu
- Cajun Burger – $14.99
- Bucket of Bones – $12.99
- Candy Corn Milkshake – $8.49
*NEW* Cajun Burger – $14.99
Cajun-spiced all-beef patty topped with fried green tomato, Cajun Andouille dip, and Creole remoulade served on a black bun
Pecos Bill Tale Tall Inn & Cafe is hardly ever our first choice for a burger. But to our surprise, it was kind of good. The patty itself is close to standard quality, which is to say it’s dry. However, the Cajun Andouille dip lends moisture and spicy, New Orleans-style sausage flavor. The fried green tomato was very good. The bun is thick and soft, but otherwise not worth mentioning. However, the dryness of the beef patty puts this one low on our list.
*NEW* Bucket of Bones – $12.99
Bone-in piggy wings fried with fresh jalapeños tossed in Coca-Cola Cherry barbecue sauce
Unfortunately, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe was sold out of the Bucket of Bones when we arrived, and did not get any more in for the rest of the night.
*NEW* Candy Corn Milk Shake – $8.49
Sweet corn soft-serve topped with whipped cream and sweet potato corn bread nuggets
The sweet potato corn bread nugget tasted like pumpkin bread. It was nicely spiced and moist. The sweet corn soft serve was phenomenal. It’s reminiscent of creamed corn, and while some may find the idea off-putting, it’s creative and interesting.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs from August 11 through November 1 on select nights. A separate ticket is required to attend.
