We reported the possibility in the past and now more sources have indicated that the roaming M3GAN horde will be coming to Halloween Horror Nights 32 at Universal Studios Florida. Following the confirmation of Death Eaters this morning, M3GAN and David S. Pumpkins remain the last unannounced experiences for this year’s event.
Roaming M3GAN Horde
While not a traditional scare zone, the Scareactors will roam the park seeking victims to terrorize.
The film’s inclusion at Halloween Horror Nights 32 has been long-rumored, given an official source behind the M3GAN Reddit AMA said, “I can’t wait to go to HHN this year.”
As Universal Pictures has a first-look deal granting them ownership and distribution of Blumhouse films, the two companies have teamed up several times to bring properties to HHN. Last year, there was a Horrors of Blumhouse house featuring “Black Phone” and “Freaky.”
Blumhouse’s “The Exorcist: Believer” is featured in a house at this year’s event as well.
“M3GAN”
The official synopsis reads:
“The story follows Gemma (Allison Williams), a brilliant roboticist at a toy company who uses artificial intelligence to develop the Model 3 Generative Android (M3GAN), a life-like doll programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally.
After unexpectedly gaining custody of her orphaned niece Cady, Gemma enlists the help of the M3GAN prototype — a decision that has unimaginable consequences.”
The film follows Gemma and Cady as M3GAN becomes increasingly protective over the young girl. It intensifies until M3GAN believes she is the only suitable parental figure for Cady and goes as far as to kill people and animals she considers threats to Cady’s life.
“M3GAN” was released in January 2023 and stars Allison Williams (“Get Out”) as Gemma, Violet McGraw (“The Haunting of Hill House”) as Cady, and Jenna Davis as M3GAN.
A product of several horror alumni, “M3GAN” was produced by Blumhouse’s Jason Blum and James Wan, one of the minds behind the “Saw,” “Insidious,” and “The Conjuring” franchises. The script was written by Akela Cooper (“Malignant”).
A sequel, “M3GAN 2.0,” will be released on January 17, 2025. Williams and McGraw have been confirmed to reprise their roles.
