EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion is one of the prettiest in World Showcase which means it has some of the nicest photo spots. I ventured out to the pavilion on my last trip to find the best photo spots. It’s a little challenging right now to navigate the area due to all the construction walls that are up. The pavilion is receiving a small refurbishment which is very needed. Thankfully the photo spots arent affected by the ongoing project.
Canada Waterfall Area
I have always loved this section of the pavilion. Not only is it gorgeous but it’s a peaceful area. The best part is that there isn’t a lot of traffic here hence why it is a perfect photo spot.
Usually, these stairs aren’t blocked off, but that rock is always there, and that is where I set up my water bottle which is what I lean my phone on to capture the image. After I get my phone situated I then set the camera timer to 10 seconds.
As you can see, the floor is wet in this area so try not to slip while running into a pose. I love taking pictures here during the summer because the mist coming off the waterfall helps cool me down on these hot days.
Here’s a look at the photos I took. I really like how these turned out, and from the looks of it, I could fit maybe one or two more people into the photo. This could be the perfect spot to do a proposal or to take some cute pictures with your friends.
Victoria Gardens Bridge
The Victoria Gardens at the pavilion are inspired by the Butchart Gardens of British Columbia. According to a sign at the entrance, the gardens are a reminder and reflection of horticulture as a work of art and a labor of love.
The top image is that part of the bridge where I set up my water bottle. The section on the bottom is where I posed for the photo.
I tried to make sure I placed the water bottle as centered as possible. Perhaps this photo needs a photographer rather than an emotional support water bottle, but if you are here alone, it will do.
These aren’t my favorite photos, but I don’t hate them. I think if I had someone with me, the angles would be better, and more of the garden would show in the photo. With that being said, I think the center photo is something I would post on Instagram.
Once the refurbishment is done I will have to do an updated version of this because there are so many other spots that are photo-worthy in the Canada Pavilion. I suggest checking out these areas and capturing wonderful moments of your own. I hope this helps you take a few Instagram-worthy photos on your next vacation.
