They’re Not REALLY Poison…but You May Still Want To SKIP These Halloween Churros in Magic Kingdom 😬

If you’re visiting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom, you’ll find lots of snacks and sweet treats around the park that only come out for the after-hours event.

These next treats may have a spooky name, but it has a SWEET side to it. We’re heading to the hub for a new twist on a classic Disney treat.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a seasonal Magic Kingdom event requiring a separate ticket for entry. In 2023, the event will take place on select nights from August 11th through November 1st. Although there are some Halloween treats available all day long in Magic Kingdom, others only come out for the party.

Right now, we’re heading to grab some new churros from the churro cart near Cinderella Castle. These Not-So-Poison Apple Churros (see? we told you they weren’t poison!) are $7. This is a churro rolled in green apple sugar, topped with Snickers bar pieces, and drizzled with caramel sauce.

The caramel sauce was good and the green apple sugar added a nice, interesting flavor. But you’ll have to really love sweets to enjoy this one. We definitely think it could be too sweet for some.

The churro also did not taste very fresh, which is super disappointing. The Snickers is a lot too and can become pretty messy. There are a lot of other GREAT treats out there, so we think this is one of the more skipable.

Don’t want to pay extra for treats at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party? Don’t worry — you can skip the restaurants and just trick-or-treat around the park instead. The candy is your typical Halloween goodies, but hey — it’s all sugar, right?
