Magic Kingdom

• The updated mini Magic Kingdom Ferryboat atop the transportation service’s entrance archway at the Transportation and Ticket Center has been revealed.
• A lawsuit has been filed after a Florida man allegedly sustained injuries from a falls in the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT

• Another guest is suing Disney after she says the monorail doors malfunctioned without any warning and shut on her, trapping her and requiring other guests to intervene to free her.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• The Snow White cupcake has returned to Walt Disney World for World Princess Week 2023.

New Merchandise

• Dooney & Bourke is releasing a new “D100 Platinum Celebration” collection next week in honor of 100 years of The Walt Disney Company. The collection will be available at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom, where we saw a preview of the bags on display.
• A Trader Sam’s dress is now available at BouTiki in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
• Another new Halloween Minnie ear headband has arrived at Walt Disney World Resort.
• Also, a Jasmine short sleeve Spirit Jersey is available now, just in time for World Princess Week.

Other Walt Disney World News

• Theme park hours have been extended near the end of this month at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Disneyland Resort

• The former Steakhouse 55 is now completely blocked off at Disneyland Hotel, and the restaurant’s sign has been removed.
• As Splash Mountain becomes Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the first birdhouse has been removed as construction accelerates.

Tokyo Disney Resort

• As part of their ongoing 40th anniversary celebration, Tokyo Disney Resort will release a new “Moments-Go-Round” collection that allows guests to customize their own Mickey-shaped display piece.
• Tokyo DisneySea is testing new security scanners similar to the ones recently installed at Walt Disney World & Disneyland.

Disney Cruise Line

• Pearl Castaway Club Members can now arrive for their Disney Cruise Line sailing anytime.

Entertainment and Media

• Gen Con, Ravensburger, and the Disney Lorcana team have improved operations during day two of Gen Con 2023, and we have a full report.
• We finally made it to the front of the line and can show you all of the Disney Lorcana items that are available at the Ravensburger booth.
