Deciding where to stay when you go on a Disney World vacation can be a challenge.
Space, proximity to the parks, budget, and more are all things that you will probably consider when trying to narrow down your search. There are a lot of perks to staying at a Disney World hotel — extra theme park hours, free transportation, and tons of theming to name a few. But, did you know that there are accommodations off-property that might fit the needs of your group better — and they are full of theming? Vacation rentals are a great way to add some flexibility to your trip, and we found some that are full of character.

TopVillas has some Orlando-based vacation rentals right around the corner from Disney World, and recently we had the chance to check out one of their highly-themed homes. This vacation rental in Kissimmee has a large pool, game room, home theater, and 8 bedrooms — each with its own unique personality. Let’s take a look!
There are multiple rooms in the house with a lot of character, like this Toy Story-themed room full of oversized games and toys. There’s even a large game of Plinko!
The beds are surrounded by fun references to the film.
You can watch a movie on the Etch-a-Sketch television…
…and there’s even a human-sized Barbie box!
Down the hall, there is a Star Wars-themed bedroom.
You’ll feel like you have hopped right into a galaxy far far away…
… and it’s complete with a gaming area.
It doesn’t just have themed bedrooms, though. Down the hall is a recreation room, which is also Star Wars-themed, where you can find a dart board and dry bar…
…a setup for karaoke…
…and a Mandalorian pinball machine.
There are tons of ways to keep yourself entertained.
Through the recreation room, you’ll find a home theater, decked out in Harry Potter decor!
The walls are covered with references to the four houses…
…and there’s even a fireplace topped with Hedwig and a Sirius Black poster.
For those Harry Potter fans, you’ll find even more decor along the walls.
Lastly, there is a game room where you’ll find options like Guitar Hero…
…as well as Pac-Man.
Downstairs, you’ll find a spacious kitchen where you could prepare your meals if you were hoping to avoid dining out every night.
There’s a dining area with room for plenty…
…as well as a living area where your whole family could wind down after a day in the parks.
Near the living room is a wet bar where you can whip up a cocktail.
And don’t forget the pool!
There is an outdoor dining area, so your family can enjoy a meal by the pool.
Vacation rentals can be a great way to stay near Disney World but still get to keep some of the comforts of staying in a home like extra space and privacy and the ability to make your own meals. And with themed homes, you don’t have to miss out on the Disney character! Think this might be the right option for your group? Click here to find a vacation rental for your next trip to Orlando.
