In Crystal Arts at Magic Kingdom for the past few weeks, Miguel Arribas of the Arribas Brothers has been creating a glass replica of Sleeping Beauty Castle from Disneyland Paris. The castle is now available for purchase for $100,000.
Sleeping Beauty Castle Glass Replica – $100,000
The castle was crafted using tiny crystals.
It even includes a glass dragon and the dragon’s cave.
As noted on the sign, it is a re-creation of the Disneyland Paris version of the castle, not the Disneyland version.
A marble model was used as inspiration.
And here’s the real castle for comparison.
We cataloged the castle’s creation this month, which you can see in the photos below.
On September 2, the hill and cave were not yet part of the castle.
But the glass dragon was done.
Towers were constructed, added, and then removed for continued work.
Here is the castle inside the cave on September 5.
The drawbridge is not attached to the castle, but is displayed off to the side for now.
During work, the towers and other extraneous pieces were placed in this adjacent display case.
If you visited at the right time, you might have seen Miguel Arribas working on the castle.
