2024-25 Hong Kong Disneyland Ambassador Team Selected
Tse and Abejero succeed 2022-23 ambassadors Lily Chan and Tony Dick in the roles and will formally start on January 1, 2024. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Managing Director Michael Moriarty expressed excitement about the new ambassadors in a press release shared by the resort on Friday.
The Ambassador Program holds such a special place at Disney parks around the world. As we approach 100 years of Disney, it’s heartwarming to see this tradition continue to grow and evolve. Beyan and Gisele are a great representation of the diversity in cultures, languages, personalities and expertise among our cast member family. I am confident they will complement each other beautifully and inspire hope and possibility in our cast members, community and beyond.

According to the press release, Tse has been a Disney Parks fan for nearly two decades and joined the Hong Kong Disneyland financial management department in 2019. She later joined the global Disney VoluntEARS charitable program and was ultimately added to its Leadership Council.
Abejero, per the press release, is a longtime Hong Kong Disneyland performer and has appeared in shows like “The Golden Mickeys,” “Mickey and the Wondrous Book,” and “Festival of the Lion King.”
Disney Ambassador Program
Walt Disney launched the Disney Ambassador Program when he chose Julie Reihm Casaletto as the first Disneyland Ambassador in 1965. Today, each Disney resort across the globe has at least one representative in the program, with each Ambassador, according to the Hong Kong Disneyland press release, “[participating] in various community service activities, such as Disney VoluntEARS, to bring the unique magic . . . to communities in need and spread the positive energy of Disney.”
With a new term set to commence at the start of 2024, several new ambassadors have been selected and announced over the past few weeks. Dylan Rogers was selected as the incoming Disney Ambassador for Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, on September 5. José Alfaro Navarro and Dylan Legras were selected as the 2024-25 Ambassadors for Disneyland Paris on September 21, with Walt Disney World announcing Serena Arvizu and Shannon Smith-Conrad as their new Ambassadors the next day. Disneyland Resort selected Jada Young and Raul Aquino Rojas as their Ambassadors for the 2024-25 term on September 28.
