All We Have to Say About Disney World’s New Treat Is “Nailed It.”

Halloween is here, and we are eating ALL the things in Disney World.

Amorette’s Patisserie

Let’s just say we’ve eaten a LOT of spooky treats, including the cutest little pumpkin you’ve ever seen, a Haunted Mansion cone, and everything on the Starbucks fall menu. Well, we’re now headed to Disney Springs to try a new Halloween-themed treat at Amorette’s Patisserie!

Amorette’s Patisserie always comes up with some gorgeous snacks, so we weren’t TOO surprised when we got the new Oogie Boogie Cream Puff for $8, and it looked AMAZING. It’s a Nightmare Before Christmas and Oogie Boogie-themed cream puff filled with cookies and cream mousse and topped with whipped cream. Again, LOOK AT IT.

Well, well, well…

So, obviously, Amorette’s nailed the theming. Even with all its details, though, the snack itself is simple enough that even picky eaters might enjoy it. The mousse inside is thick and creamy with a classic cookies and cream flavor.

What have we here?

The cream puff is light and airy, although it’s coated with chocolate that made it a little hard to cut — but that chocolate adds a nice rich flavor to everything. We also like that there’s just enough whipped cream on top to add a bit of extra creaminess, but it’s not so much that it overwhelms the rest.

Inside

So if you’re feeling like rolling the dice with Oogie Boogie, head on over to Disney Springs and grab this treat — we think even kids will like this one!

We’ll be trying out even MORE Halloween snacks in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
