Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disneyland Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure just returned!

We’ve been making our way around the exclusive after-hours party, watching the Frightfully Fun Parade, checking out the Villains Grove maze, and more. But one of the best parts of the party is the trick-or-treating! At the Trick-or-Treat trails, not only can guests stock up on tons of free candy, but they also meet a few RARE characters along the way. Let’s take a look at who and what we found this year.

Throughout the park, ticketed guests will find immersive treat trails where they can pick up candy from Cast Members. You can find all of the locations listed in the Disneyland app or on the party map, marked with a cauldron!

On your first stop, you’ll get a souvenir bag to hold all of the goods!

While the candy is fun — and free(!!) — the most exciting part about the treat trails is the characters you’ll find at each one. Some of them will be wandering around the area, others chatting with guests from a stage, and others might give you a performance!

To start, we stopped near San Fransokyo to meet Yokai from Big Hero 6. He was telling us all about Tadashi’s faults and inviting us to become his apprentices.

We also headed over to Pixar Pier, because there, you can meet Sid from Toy Story. He’s just as frightening in person!

Like we said, a little bit scary, if you ask us.

Besides Yokai, there’s another new character this year — Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. We prioritized a visit to his Treat Trail!

Mad Madam Mim is a rare character to spot out and about, so we were happy to pay her a visit in the Bountiful Valley Hideaway. 

If you stop by Avengers Campus, you’ll probably come across a long line for Agatha Harkness. Her Treat Trail is located in the Ancient Sanctum. 

She’s a character from the hit Disney+ show WandaVision, and she has been popular ever since she premiered at this party!

Coco lovers will find Ernesto de la Cruz putting on a show on his Treat Trail at the Hyperion Theater.

If you watched the live-action Cruella, then you probably want to meet the queen of fashion herself. Her Treat Trail is found near the Hollywood Backlot Stage.

Mother Gothel is a must-visit for Tangled fans! She’s located near Grizzly Pass.

And we saved the best for last. Make sure to visit your host for the evening — Oogie Boogie himself — inside the Disney Animation Building!
