• Destination D23 takes place at Walt Disney World Resort this weekend, and we expect to hear a few big things from Chairman Josh D’Amaro tomorrow.

Disneyland Resort

• General Hera Syndulla and her droid, C1-10P a.k.a. Chopper, have arrived at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park to coincide with the ongoing “Ahsoka” series on Disney+.
• A lawsuit initially filed against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in 2021 over alleged false advertising of the Magic Key program at Disneyland reached a settlement in July, and the terms of that settlement have been revealed; each settlement class member will receive “approximately” $67.41 from a settlement fund totaling $9.5 million, should the proposed terms ultimately be approved.
• The option to purchase a new Inspire Key has been removed from the official Disneyland website, meaning that all Magic Keys are at least temporarily unavailable for people who do not already own them.
• The Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit scavenger hunt has returned to Downtown Disney District for the 2023 Halloween season.
• We spotted a photo shoot at Disneyland this Friday featuring 2023 holiday apparel and merchandise, giving us a closer look at some previously announced designs and a look at an as-of-yet unannounced holiday ear headband.
• “Phineas and Ferb” co-creator and voice of Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Dan Povenmire, shared a story on TikTok of a fun encounter with a Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Cast Member at Disneyland.

Hong Kong Disneyland

• Disney Parks fans have long anticipated the opening of the new World of Frozen expansion at Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disney announced the opening date: November 20,2023.

Entertainment and Media

• Fans are having trouble getting their hands on Disney Lorcana cards after the game had its wide release on September 1, and resellers are pricing the rarest individual cards at over $1,000.
