Every MAJOR Transportation Change That Hit Disney World This Week

There are many different ways to get around Disney World.

EPCOT Monorail

Of course, if you drive yourself, you have your car to use, but you can also utilize free Disney transportation like the Skyliner, Disney buses, Disney boats, Monorail, and more. However, there are some big changes coming to Disney World transportation coming this week that you need to know about!

Brightline Train to and from Orlando International Airport

The new Brightline Train Station at MCO Airport is officially opened on September 22nd! This project has been in the works for many years, and now it’s finally open.

It won’t take you directly to Disney World, but it can get you closer to the parks depending on where you’re traveling from. This new route takes guests from Orlando Airport to Miami with stops in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura along the way.

Parking Trams at EPCOT

Parking trams have also finally recently returned to EPCOT!

EPCOT Parking Tram

They returned late last week but only had one tram running to two parts of the parking lot at first. Now the parking trams are back in full force, saving you a LOT of walking to and from your car and the park gates.

EPCOT Festivals Will Look Totally Different Next Year

Parking Trams in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Parking trams also have finally returned to Hollywood Studios!

Hollywood Studios Parking Tram

Hollywood Studios and EPCOT were the last two parks without parking trams, so all the Disney World theme parks now have their parking trams back. This is especially fantastic because it helps those who have mobility issues, but can’t pay for a premium parking spot or don’t have a handicapped sign for their car. Plus, after a long day walking around the parks, it’s nice to have the option to rest your feet.

Encanto Skyliner Wrap

There is a new Skyliner car you can ride on too — it’s got an Encanto wrap all around it!

The new car has the Madrigal family on all sides. You never know what car you’ll get when you’re in line, but now you can keep an eye out for these!

It’s Bruno!
