EPCOT

• The new EPCOT Reimagined merchandise collection is now available at Creations Shop.
• Soarin’ Over California returned to EPCOT in honor of the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.
• As part of the Disney100 festivities at EPCOT, a new, expansive mural has made its debut in World Celebration, along the walkway to World Showcase.
• The Disney100 Mickey and Minnie meet and greet featuring the characters in their platinum outfits has begun in the Imagination! Pavilion at EPCOT.
• Disney100 decorations have been added throughout the entrance area and World Celebration at EPCOT as 100th-anniversary offerings begin at the park.
• We reviewed the three new Global Marketplaces that opened as part of the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival — Char & Chop, Bubbles & Brine, and Wine & Wedge.
• A new light show debuted on the exterior of Spaceship Earth on September 22 to coincide with the commencement of Disney100 celebrations at EPCOT.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

• There’s a new structure visible behind the construction walls in the Harambe Village section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• Disney has filed a new permit with South Florida Water Management District featuring layout plans for the ground level of the new Disney Vacation Club tower at the Polynesian Village Resort.

New Merchandise

• The metallic Disney100 purple Mickey Mouse balloon popcorn bucket first released at Disneyland Resort is now available at EPCOT.
• A new pin celebrating “Fantasmic!,” the beloved Disney Parks nighttime show that debuted at Disneyland in 1992 and at Walt Disney World Resort in 1998, is now available for purchase at Magic Kingdom.

Other Walt Disney World News

• The 2024-2025 Walt Disney World Ambassador team has been selected. Serena Arvizu and Shannon Smith-Conrad will represent the 75,000+ Walt Disney World Cast Members through 2025.
• Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios hours have been extended in the middle of October 2023.

Disneyland Resort

• We released our full 2023 guide to Halloween time at Disneyland Resort.
• The 1990s Disney100 Decades collection has made its way to Disneyland Resort, with items celebrating Disney ’90s staples like “A Goofy Movie,” “Darkwing Duck,” and more.

Tokyo Disney Resort

• Fans of the Pinocchio’s Daring Journey attraction at Tokyo Disneyland can take a piece of the ride home with them with a blind box miniature figure collection.

Entertainment and Media

• Ravensburger has added a Frequently Asked Questions section to specific cards on their official Disney Lorcana TCG Companion app to help answer questions posed by new and experienced players alike.
• A “Lilo and Stitch”-inspired take on YAHTZEE is now available alongside new lotería games featuring characters from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Encanto.”
