It’s never too early to start planning a Disney World vacation. In fact, we’ve even warned our readers to AVOID visiting the Disney parks all the way in 2028. But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Instead, let’s look at 2024. There are some BIG things happening in Disney World next year (like the return of the famous Disney Dining Plan, the removal of the park pass reservation rule, and much more). But now that revenge travel seems to be over, are tons of people still going to Disney World?
We asked our readers on Facebook if they had any trips planned for Disney World in 2024. Did we get a resounding “NO.“? Were our comments flooded with the word “YES!“? Let’s find out!
We asked a simple question: Are you going to Disney World in 2024? We received HUNDREDS of comments, so let’s see what our readers had to say.
Out of the hundreds of replies we received, the vast majority of our fans said YES! Interestingly, though, most people who said “yes” did not attribute their decision to any of the new things coming to Disney World in 2024. Is that what you would have expected?
Several readers explained that they have trips planned specifically for various runDisney events next year. Those marathon weekends and runDisney events tend to book up QUICKLY, so it’s no surprise our readers are already prepared for the upcoming races.
Additionally, lots of Disney fans explained that they plan to visit the parks multiple times next year because they have an Annual Pass. Might as well make that Annual Pass worth it, right?
We had many responses from people explaining that their 2024 trip will be their first Disney vacation since before the pandemic! A LOT has changed since then, so our readers may have some catching up to do. Hopefully, they read allll our posts about Genie+, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind before the big trip!
Speaking of Disney newcomers, several commenters were proud to share that 2024 will be the FIRST time that their family visits Disney World. How exciting!
Of course, we heard from a lot of people that planned trips to celebrate a special occasion. Some are celebrating graduations, anniversaries, or just a good old girl’s trip! What better place to commemorate a big event than the most magical place on Earth, right?
We did see a few “No”s in the comments, too. But most people who said “no” explained that they have a trip planned for 2025 or sometime in the future instead. Clearly, the demand for Disney World is not dying — at least among DFB readers!
