At Universal Studios Florida, the Mocambo nightclub restrooms have been refurbished and a new water bottle filler was installed. The restrooms were closed and blocked by construction walls in early July. They haven’t reopened yet, but the walls are down and we can see inside.

Temporary fences block the restroom entrances.
Inside, dark blue and cream-colored tiles create a diamond pattern across the bottom half of the walls.
There were lights on in both the men’s and women’s restrooms.
Below is what the restroom entrances looked like when they closed in July.
There are now separate entrances to the men’s and women’s rooms, instead of one large entrance with doors in either direction. Previously, there was a strip of green and red tile on the entrance wall and a different pattern of blue and white tile beneath.
New Elkay water fountains with a water bottle filler have been installed next to the restrooms.
These automatic water bottle fillers encourage guests to reuse bottles. A counter on the top shows how many bottles have theoretically been saved using the filler. Lights indicate when the filter needs to be changed.
