The new trailer for the special, which airs this November, features Harris as the Toymaker, an all-powerful enemy of the Doctor who hasn’t been seen since 1966. The Toymaker was previously portrayed by the late Tony Award-wining English actor Michael Gough, who is best known for playing Alfred Pennyworth in the first four Batman (1989, 1992, 1995, and 1997) movies.

According to Fandom, the character is described as follows:
The Toymaker, also known as the Celestial Toymaker, the Crystal Guardian, and the Mandarin, was a powerful being who ensnared sentient beings in seemingly childish games, with their freedom as the stakes. However, the Toymaker hated to lose and the games were always rigged in his favor.
He joins Jemma Redgrave and David Tennant in the special, who reprise their roles as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart and the Fourteenth Doctor, respectively.
The 60th anniversary special comes ahead of the BBC’s revamp of “Doctor Who” starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor. The special will include three episodes, and will be the first “Doctor Who” episodes to stream on Disney+ outside the UK and Ireland. The show will also continue to air on the BBC.
