The 1990s Disney100 Decades collection has made its way to Disneyland Resort, with items celebrating Disney ’90s staples like “A Goofy Movie,” “Darkwing Duck,” and more.
1990s Disney100 Decades Collection
We found the trading pin for the collection at 20th Century Music Company, and the rest of the collection in the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park. All of the items found in the 1990s Disney100 Decades Collection are also available on shopDisney.
Limited Release The Disney Afternoon Pin – $34.99
This square pin features characters from “The Disney Afternoon,” a programming block that ran through most of the 1990s through Disney’s syndication affiliate at the time, Buena Vista Television. Some of the shows featured in The Disney Afternoon include “Darkwing Duck,” “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers,” “Talespin,” “Adventures of the Gummi Bears,” and more.
The pin resembles a vintage television, with The Disney Afternoon logo in the top left. Sketches of characters are on the TV, with other characters popping out in full color in front of them.
Chip, Dale, and Gadget Hackwrench are featured along the bottom. Darkwing Duck is at the center, and Baloo as he appeared in “Talespin” is on the right side. Cubbi Gummi is swinging from the top of the TV.
Beauty and the Beast Light-Up Ear Headband – $39.99
This “Beauty and the Beast” ear headband takes inspiration from the animated film, which was released in 1991. Fabric roses line the top of the headband in between the ears.
One of the ears features the enchanted rose, which indicates how much time remains for the Beast to break the spell in the film. The rose is stylized as a stained glass window, referencing the beginning and ending of the film, which features stained glass artwork.
The other ear includes stained glass artwork of Belle and Prince Adam from the end of the film.
As you can see in this photo, the ear headband includes LED lights alongside the roses, lighting up the accessory. The battery for the lights is rechargeable, and the ear headband includes a charger cable.
The headband itself is gold and is lined with a non-slip velour interior of the same shade.
A Goofy Movie Loungefly Mini Backpack – $88
This Loungefly Mini Backpack features Goofy and Max from “A Goofy Movie,” which released in 1995.
The front of the backpack has the father and son pair sitting on top of Goofy’s car as it floats down the river, referencing the “Nobody Else But You” sequence from the film.
The sides of the backpack show various items that have fallen from the car, including a cassette tape and a frying pan. The blue river wraps around the bottom half of the bag. A blue-green enamel Disney Loungefly badge is attached to the left side.
The adjustable straps are orange. A Disney100 patch is attached on the back of the bag, just below the top handle.
The inside pattern of the backpack includes various photos of Max and Goofy on their travels together, as they float in the river. The hardware of the backpack is gold-colored.
Darkwing Duck Plush – $34.99
This Darkwing Duck plush is ready to get dangerous, as he stands with his hands on his hips and a squinty look in his eye. The animated series of the same name originally ran from 1991 to 1992 as part of The Disney Afternoon.
Darkwing Duck comes dressed in his purple suit, complete with matching cape and hat.
He comes packaged in a Disney100 slip bag for safekeeping.
