A new pin celebrating “The Disney Afternoon” has joined the 1990s Disney100 Decades collection available at Walt Disney World. The bulk of the 1990s collection was released a few days ago and includes “A Goofy Movie” Loungefly mini backpack, Darkwing Duck plush, and “Beauty and the Beast” light-up ear headband.
We found the new pin alongside other Disney100 Decades items at Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom.
Limited Release “The Disney Afternoon” Pin – $34.99
The square pin features characters from “The Disney Afternoon.” This programming block ran through most of the ’90s and featured shows like “Darkwing Duck,” “TaleSpin,” “DuckTales,” “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers,” “Adventures of the Gummi Bears,” and “Gargoyles.”
The pin resembles a vintage TV, with a logo for “The Disney Afternoon” in the upper left corner. Some sketches of characters are on the TV, while other characters are popping out in full color. Chip, Dale, and Gadget Hackwrench are along the bottom. Darkwing Duck is in the center. Baloo as he appeared in “Tale Spin” is on the side. And Cubbi Gummi is swinging from the top of the TV.
