A new Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground rucksack by Loungefly is available at Meadow Trading Post, the resort’s gift shop near Pioneer Hall.

The backpack is made of a green twill canvas with dark brown pleather straps.

It’s covered in patches, including a circular “Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground” patch featuring Mickey on the front main flap. Below that is a patch for Tri-Circle-D Ranch. There are several small acorn patches.

On the side of the bag is a Meadow Swimmin’ Pool patch.

Below that is one for Pioneer Hall and “Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue,” with the show’s opening year of 1974.

On the other side of the bag is a patch featuring tents and Fort Wilderness cabins, with the resort’s opening year of 1971.

The back and bottom of the bag are a brown vinyl material. It has padded, adjustable straps.

Behind the main flap is a drawstring opening. Inside the large pocket is a padded laptop sleeve with a velcro strap.

The interior lining is a light tan color with an all-over pattern of Mickey, Chip ‘n’ Dale (eating s’mores), trees, clouds, and the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground logo.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is a camping ground at Walt Disney World Resort that officially opened in November 1971, just over a month after Magic Kingdom.

Fort Wilderness is located near Wilderness Lodge, right next to Bay Lake. Both were once convenient resorts for guests hoping to visit Disney’s River Country, but the water park closed over 20 years ago and never reopened.

Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness is where the horses of Walt Disney World are cared for. Guests can enjoy pony rides (available on a walk-in basis) and trail rides (which are bookable online).

Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long — featuring music, s’mores, and a movie under the stars — is performed nightly.

Fort Wilderness is also home to the famous “Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue” in Pioneer Hall. The quintessential dining experience has been a fixture of Walt Disney World since 1974. Live performers sing and dance in a Wild West stage show. Between skits, guests can enjoy fried chicken, smoked BBQ pork ribs, tossed green salad, baked beans, fresh-baked cornbread, and strawberry shortcake. Watch our video of the full show below.
