Though Disney’s Wilderness Lodge draws its inspiration from national parks and the Pacific Northwest, a new ear headband that recently debuted at the resort takes its aesthetic cues from a slightly different region of the United States. Be transported back to the wild, wild west with this new Disney’s Wilderness Lodge-themed Loungefly headband that features Mickey Mouse and his friends in their finest cowboy threads.
We found this headband in the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile near the lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

The headband is covered in an artificial leather material that has the ridges and worn appearance of actual leather. The ears are a light brown hue and are bordered by a dark brown faux leather strip that loops around the exterior of each circle. That pattern is replicated around the edges of the yellow bow at the headband’s center; a brown and gold Disney’s Wilderness Lodge pin sits in the middle of the bow.
Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are individually embossed on the front of either ear in cowboy attire. Mickey dons a cowboy hat and points forward as he holds the reins of a stationary horse.
Donald rides atop a galloping horse on the front of the right ear.
The back of each ear features additional imagery, with the official Disney’s Wilderness Lodge logo embossed on the back of the Mickey-adorned ear. Goofy appears on the other circle, but he didn’t quite get the memo, as he’s riding a rocking horse. Though potentially just a coincidence, Goofy’s cowboy attire looks quite similar to his outfit from the opening shots of the “El Gaucho Goofy” short produced for “Saludos Amigos,” a Walt Disney Animation Studios package film that was released in 1942.
The headband is padded and covered in the same dark brown faux leather material that loops around the exterior of each ear. A brown and gold Disney and Loungefly plaque is attached to the side.
