A new sign has been added next to the test seats near the entrance of TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom, warning guests that the seating may prevent some guests from riding and encouraging everyone to confirm they can fit in the seat.
Before the attraction opened to guests, Cast Members attending previews reported issues fitting into the ride’s seats. The ends of the coaster trains have a Light Runner car to accommodate guests whose mobility or size may prevent them from sitting in the regular bike-shaped Lightcycle seats.
The new A-frame sign next to the test seats reads:
The seating and restraints on this attraction may prohibit Guests of certain body shapes or sizes from riding.
Please try the seat to confirm your ability to ride.
See a Cast Member for assistance.
The sign was likely added to encourage more guests to try the test seats.
There is a pair of Lightcycles in front of a backdrop outside the attraction, for testing but also perfect for photo ops.
Right now, umbrellas are set up to shade the seats.
