Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is essentially a Disney timeshare program.

Some families who go to the Disney theme parks a lot and/or plan to go for many years in the future find this to be a good investment. Some of Disney’s hotel rooms are reserved specifically for these DVC guests, and they receive other special perks as well. If you want to hear more about the service while you’re in Disney World, there are many spots around the property where you can speak to experts. However, one of those locations is now closed.
While we were walking around Disney Springs today, we noticed that the Disney Vacation Club location that’s located right across from Frontera Cocina (near the Disney Springs welcome center) has closed.
It’s closed
The sign is still up right outside of the shop, but it’s vacant inside, and the doors are locked. A sign on the door tells visitors that the store is closed and something new is coming soon.

At this time, we don’t know if a new store will take up DVC residence and, if so, what that might be. If you’re looking to learn more about the DVC, you can visit the DVC stands located in each of the four theme parks.
Changes are coming!
Several stores have recently closed in Disney Springs, and others have moved or been updated. For example, the Sosa Family Cigars Shop has closed permanently, Alex & Ani moved locations, and Tren-D got a makeover!
