NEWS: Temporary CLOSURE Announced for a Disney World Restaurant

Disney World hotels have some of the absolute best restaurants on property.

Disney’s Grand Floridian

From ‘Ohana to Boma to Topolino’s Terrace and more, plenty of our favorite Disney World eateries can be found at the hotels. Trust us, some of these spots are even worth going out of your way for, and if you’re planning an upcoming trip — there’s a closure you might want to know about.

Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be temporarily closed beginning on September 17th, 2023. Thanks to our friend Joe (@schreiberjoe on Instagram) for letting us know about this update!

According to Disney World’s website, the closure is so that they can make “a few more equipment updates” following the recent extended closure and menu revamp. Disney expects Narcoossee’s will reopen by mid-October, but no concrete date has been announced just yet.

Blackened Redfish

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is currently undergoing a massive overhaul to several areas of the resort, including the lobby and the path that leads you to Gasparilla Island Grill. If you’re staying at this resort anytime soon, keep these changes in mind so that you know what to expect and aren’t shocked when you arrive!
