Mint Julep Bar in Disneyland has reopened after an over six-month closure. The bar was closed while the attached French Market Restaurant was transformed into Tiana’s Palace. Mint Julep Bar remains relatively unchanged, although it has been repainted with new lanterns hanging over it.
Mint Julep Bar
Mint Julep Bar is around the back of Tiana’s Palace, near the Disneyland Railroad station.
Construction walls stop right next to the bar’s queue.
Outdoor seating may be available again after Tiana’s Palace reopens. A yellow and green awning hangs over the area.
The walls of the outdoor bar have been painted a muted orange. The podiums and window frames are green.
Mint Julep Bar serves mint juleps, of course, as well as coffee, tea, cocoa, and sodas. They also serve Mickey-shaped beignets in packs of three or six. There is mobile order available.
The mounted sign and painted sign feature green and red details.
The new lanterns are black iron with green translucent glass panels.
The panels are decorated with black leaves on curling stems, like what you might see in a bayou.
Tiana’s Palace will have its grand opening on September 7. Disneyland Resort shared a recent look inside the new restaurant, which is directly inspired by Tiana’s restaurant at the end of “The Princess and the Frog.”
