During Halloween Horror Nights 32, the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida has been taken over by creatures of the Dark Zodiac for a scare zone inspired by the magic Dr. Oddfellow channels for immortality.
Dark Zodiac
Dr. Oddfellow has entered a dark dimension to harness the power of the Zodiac and live forever. He twists the signs into malevolent beings who foretell your doom. As his star rises, yours falls.

Review
This zone has some great creature design and the Scareactors are good at giving off that uneasy vibe. The Hollywood area is always good for little vignettes but the two small stages this year were disappointing.
The Aries stage occasionally raises and lowers a body into a vat. The Virgo stage has water running into a funnel into the victim’s mouth. But the actors barely interact with the victims and there’s not really a show aspect to them. They aren’t interesting enough to serve as a distraction to allow other actors to scare the crowds.
The only scares in the zone come from the chainsaw drill team, who are in all black and strike intimidating figures on their own but find the best success when they come down the street together or pop out from behind the barrels. It’s disappointing because some of our favorite zones have been here but Dark Zodiac doesn’t make good use of the ample space.
It also has the least to offer to the story. Oddfellow harnesses the power of the Dark Zodiac and his symbol is throughout the zone but it doesn’t give much else.
