When it comes to coffee and cold brew, it’s not every day we’re hesitant to try the latest concoction.

However, when we heard Disneyland was selling a Banana Cream Cold Brew, we were a little worried. Banana mixed with cold brew does not sound naturally appetizing so we were curious how the two would blend together. We tried it and the result was definitely shocking!

The banana-infused cold brew is sold for $6.79 at Galactic Grill in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland. It is made with Joffrey’s Coffee cold brew and banana milk foam, and topped with whipped cream and some vanilla wafers.

Despite the dessert-like flavors, our first sip was mostly the taste of the cold brew. HOWEVER, after mixing the drink we finally got that banana taste, and lo and behold — we really liked it!

The banana really is the star of this drink (once you mix it in). It’s a very sweet flavor, but it tastes natural. Sometimes with fruit infusions like banana in drinks, you can really taste the artificial flavoring that will often create a weird aftertaste. We’re happy to report that was not the case with this cold brew.

Following up the sweet banana flavor is that cold brew taste with a creamy vanilla flavor coming from the whipped cream. Overall, we were surprised with how well all these flavors worked together!

We thought this was a fun drink and would definitely recommend trying it! However, we know that banana can be a pretty divisive flavor — some people love it and others definitely do NOT. If banana isn’t your thing, maybe this is a drink you should pass on. However, if you’re a big fan of sweet drinks, banana, cold brew, and/or are just looking for a fun drink to try on your next Disneyland trip, we think you should give this one a shot!
