Less than a month after the Crispy Chicken Dumplings replaced the fried pork and vegetable pot stickers at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom, a new option of Crispy Beef Dumplings has joined them.
Sunshine Tree Terrace is home to Orange Bird in Adventureland.

On the physical restaurant menu, the beef dumplings were the only option, seemingly replacing the chicken. However, the chicken dumplings were still advertised on the online menu.
Crispy Beef Dumplings – $8.49
with orange-ginger glaze
This crispy beef dumpling is your standard meatball wrapped in dumpling dough. The meatball is not overdone, but the taste is nothing special. The dough was on the chewy side.
The orange-ginger glaze is the best part of the dish. We wish they would rename it as “sauce” instead of “glaze,” and offer a larger portion of it. What you get when you order is not enough to cover all five dumplings.
The green onion adds a needed crunch and fresh taste. The black sesame seeds add visual interest but don’t offer much to the texture or taste of the dish.
The portion was adequate as a meal for us. It’s good enough to grab quickly and eat so you can keep going about your day.
