Mummy Eats on the Lower Lot is a great spot to get corn dogs, but there’s a new addition to the menu, just in time for Halloween Horror Nights. The Cordyceps Corn Dog, themed to “The Last of Us”, is available all day from Mummy Eats.

Korean style corn dog, truffle mayo, arugula & potato sticks, served with side of fries

This looks like crispy, fried perfection. This location sells corn dogs all the time, so it’s no surprise they know how to prepare them well. This Korean corn dog comes with a drizzle of truffle mayo and potato sticks on top. There would normally be arugula on top, but this stand was out at the time.

The crispy crunch of this corn dog was epic. There’s just the right amount of truffle mayo on top, but we would have overindulged if given the chance. The sauce has a rich and savory truffle flavor that we couldn’t resist. The potato sticks gave it a little extra added crunch and salty flavor. Everything about this Cordyceps corn dog is perfect.

The menu photo showed the corn dog served with crinkle fries, but it was served over seasoned fries instead. There was one lonely crinkle fry in our basket, though.

We expected this Korean corn dog to have cheese inside, but it was empty. It was still delicious, though.
