Halloween Horror Nights 32 has brought Naughtydog’s “The Last of Us” game to life, and you can experience living in the postapocalyptic society with food booths serving up FEDRA’s finest.
Two more “The Last of Us” themed venues can be found nearby in New York in Gramercy Park.

*NEW* Left Behind Ravioli – $9.99
Mini cheese ravioli with marinara, truffle cream, garlic bread, and tempura fried enoki mushrooms
Hope you have your gas mask! Served in a FEDRA ration can, these old abandoned ravioli seem to have sprouted some Cordyceps.
This ravioli “ration” was decent, and just your basic canned ravioli. The portion size was huge; we were shocked by just how many ravioli were in the can. We also thought the truffle cream sauce was quite delicious.
The tempura fried enoki mushrooms were just okay, and didn’t add much flavor to the dish. However, they certainly added a visual interest to the presentation.
For the price, the portion size, and the souvenir can, we think it’s worth it. The actual dish didn’t wow us, but we’d get this again for more FEDRA ration cans.
*NEW* Lakeside “Meat” Stew – $10.49
Mini cheese ravioli with marinara, truffle cream, tempura fried and enoki mushrooms
David’s serving up some “meat” stew from the Lakeside Resort. He swears it’s beef. Or did he say deer? It’s definitely not people. Probably. Whatever it is, it also looks a little… fungal.
We aren’t sure if we’d survive “The Last of Us” game, because we don’t know if we’d eat this again. The rice was cooked perfectly, but the stew was simply a basic brown gravy.
There’s not a lot going on with this dish. We wouldn’t say it’s bad, but we don’t recommend it.
*NEW* FEDRA Ration Bar – $5.49
Scotcheroo bar with coffee flavored chocolate, peanut butter, and Rice Krispies
Turn in your precious ration tickets for a regulation FEDRA bar. After a long day in the QZ dealing with sewage or shoveling corpses, you’ve earned it!
This ration bar tasted similarly to a no-bake cookie mixed with a crisped rice treat.
Part of our group enjoyed this, while one member of our party did not.
It isn’t overly sweet, but it is a nice treat if you’ve got a craving. The themed paper it’s served on wins this ration bar extra points for presentation.
*NEW* Salt Lake City Iced Tea – $$16.50 for souvenir cup, $12.50 for refill or 12 oz. single serve
Brewed coffee, JF Haden’s Espresso Liqueur, Cruzan Light Rum, Vanilla Bean, Smoked Sea Salt, and Hella Smoked Bitters
The booth also offers an alcoholic iced tea, in case you need liquid courage to brave the houses. (Or to go on a rampage to save your pseudo-daughter from the Fireflies. We won’t tell.)
Part of our group really enjoyed this cocktail, because it offers the ultimate late night at Halloween Horror Nights combination: caffeine and alcohol. However, one member of our group didn’t like this cocktail, and found it to be very heavy and bitter, thanks to the espresso liquor.
Ultimately, we would gravitate toward this option more frequently than the other sugary alcoholic drinks available during the event.
Voodoo Brewing Co. Lacto-Kooler (5.5% ABV) – $12.25
From Voodoo Brewing Co.: “Lacto-Kooler is our flavored Berliner Weisse. We made this sour ale with lots of “green” giving the beer its unique color and flavor.”
Original Sin Crimson Chaos Cider (6% ABV) – $10
From Original Sin: “Crimson Chaos was created by marrying two cherry varieties with a melody of luscious berries. The ruby red and maroon cherries introduce a balance of earthy tartness giving great depth of flavor. The berries create bursts of zest that dance on your tongue and, when combined with the cherries, result in an unforgettable joyous punch to the palate. This fruit forward blend is smooth throughout with a subtly tartness that tingles on the finish.”
