While it didn’t open when the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival started, Wine & Wedge marketplace is officially open! This is a new food booth for the festival, so we’re excited to try all of the delicious cheese, bread, vegetables, and of course, wine.

*NEW* Assorted Artisanal Cheeses and Accompaniments – $7.00
This shareable dish offers several highlights and a potential miss.
We weren’t fans of the almond presentation (or what we assume were Marcona almonds, though the menu didn’t specify).
The cheeses included were delicious, as was the honey.
Grab some friends and enjoy this one together.
*NEW* Boursin Fig & Balsamic Soufflé with Fig Tapenade – $5.75
This soufflé has a surprising mixture of sweet and savory flavors.
The fig jam has a gritty texture, which wasn’t popular with everyone in our group, but some people might be fine with it.
Overall, the extremely soft but curiously durable texture of the soufflé and flavors were surprising, and for the most part, pleasant.
*NEW* Southern Pimento Cheese with Bread-and-Butter Pickled Vegetables and Grilled Bread – $5.25
We didn’t enjoy the Southern Pimento Cheese plate. While the ciabatta is probably identical to the ciabatta we enjoyed from Char & Chop, the pimento and vegetable flavors combined missed the mark for us.
Our group was universally underwhelmed.
*NEW* Artist Palette of Wine and Cheese – $18.00

The majority of the offerings included on this artist palette are also present on the Assorted Artisanal Cheeses and Accompaniments plate, but this menu item is more expensive due to the three wine options.
The Riesling is fairly sweet, but on the dry side of sweet. The apple brandy is delicious, and tastes like an elevated version of Fireball with apple. The black and blue port has a fuzzy citrus mouthfeel.
We were fine with all of the wine selections, and everything is pulled together with a creative palette presentation.
Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese, Mosel, Germany ($35/bottle) – $10.50
MacArthur Beverages describes this wine as “pure and flinty on the pure and fresh, stony and lemony nose. Lush, refined and elegant on the palate, this is a rich yet refined, crystalline and very elegant Spätlese with a finely tannic and nicely drying finish with delicate and lush fruit.”
*NEW* Hartley Apple Brandy, Kentucky ($18/bottle) – $6.50
From Total Wine & More: “The rich aroma of fresh buttered rum cake wafts through the nose. The palate is an opulent smorgasbord of rich fruits. Asian pear, orange peel & juicy apricots drizzled with vanilla are accentuated by the tart alcohol. The finish is clean & crisp leaving the senses refreshed.”
*NEW* Florida Orange Groves Winery Black and Blue Port, St. Petersburg, FL ($56/bottle) – $8.00
Florida Orange Groves Winery describes this as “our finest blackberry wine teamed with our finest blueberry wine, fortified and aged in oak.”
