After yesterday’s grand opening of The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel, the Sorcerer’s Hat path has reopened to guests today.
Sorcerer’s Hat Path
The path has been closed as the hat underwent painting and cleaning, but only just opened to guests today. The path was closed last night while we were staying at The Villas for its opening week.
The iconic structure depicts Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat, which was first seen in “Fantasia” (1940).
Blue vertical poles extend downward from a silver point, and a silver ring sits at the bottom of the poles. Multiple garlands of yellow stars wrap around the entire hat.
A medallion for the Disneyland Hotel rests in the middle.
Multicolored stars float around the hat’s base.
Some of the stars even “hold up” the hat.
