The Battle of the Disney Springs Parking Garages – Lime vs. Orange

Which Disney Springs parking garage is your favorite, and why is it the Orange Garage?

Ryno, Craig, and I visit Disney Springs very often, and we always get into the “Which garage did you park at?” conversation, and someone is always the odd one out and says, “Lime Garage.” It is never me, by the way. I only park in the Orange Garage.

Lime Garage

I did have a time when the Lime Garage was my favorite. It was when I lived closer to Disney Springs, so getting to that garage was easy and quick. I did love that as I emerged from the escalators, the smells from Polite Pig welcomed me to the area; the only downside is that it made me hungry immediately. One of the biggest cons of this parking garage is how small the entrance is into Disney Springs, and the security is right smack in the middle of the level two parking lot, which I dislike.

This parking garage is near the World of Disney, UNIQLO, T-REX Cafe, The LEGO Store, and Ron Jon. It is also not too far from Sprinkles Cupcakes, Raglan Road, Morimoto Asia, and Gideon’s Bakehouse. This garage is excellent for anyone entering the property through the Hotel Plaza Blvd and State Road 535 entrance. It’s a straight shot into the parking structure and is hassle-free.

Orange Garage

The Orange Garage has become my favorite in the past few years. It is the easiest to get to from I-4 and close to everything I love at Disney Springs. The escalators bring you to a vast open space, unlike the Lime Garage, which has a small drop-off area. This garage also has two ways to get back to your car, and on busy weekends, they have two security areas.

The second entrance is located between Splitsville and Everglazed Donuts. That area on busy weekends will also have security, but you can also exit your car from there no matter the day. I love using that exit on days I go to concerts at House of Blues because it’s a shorter walk.

This parking structure is near the Coca-Cola Store, the bus loop, Planet Hollywood, AMC Movie Theater, DisneyStyle, and the giant Starbucks. Also nearby is the Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, Enzo’s Hideaway, Salt & Straw, and Blaze Pizza.

The Orange Garage is next to many fan-favorite activities and restaurants, which, in my book, makes this garage the winner. I also love resort hopping, so parking here makes getting to the bus loop so much easier, and when the bus drops me back off, I get to take a walk along the Disney Springs Art Walk to get back to my car.

Now that we have looked at both garages, which one is your winner? Will it be the Lime Garage or the Orange Garage? Leave your answer in the comments section!
