We all love to see Disney baby animals. Who could resist these adorable little creatures born at the Walt Disney World Resort? I love to watch as they are born and named, thinking of the future when some of them will be joining Disney’s Animal Kingdom exhibits that I love to visit, knowing that I remember when they were born. Aren’t we lucky to be involved in the behind-the-scenes magic of Disney to be able to feel personal connections like that? It’s so special.
The Most Magical Place on Earth has welcomed the birth of more than 300 animal residents. This range of births is tremendously diverse, from aquatic animals like cuttlefish and an eagle ray pup at The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT, to terrestrial mammals, including an aardvark and red river hog piglet, to more than 150 birds. These additions are important because they help keep animal populations healthy and ensure their survival.
Let’s take a look at some of the cutest baby animals that have been born this year. Warning, cuteness distraction ahead!

Oh gosh, who could forget the Cinderella Pony! And how beautiful was it when they announced that her name was Pixie? Awe, I love it. To think, one day, I might see her pulling Cinderella’s coach and remember her very exciting beginnings. These are the things I love most about Disney.
