Trust Us, You’re Going To Want To See the NEW Bathrooms in EPCOT!

Although we still don’t have an official opening date for Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana in EPCOT, we got to attend a Cast Member preview of the attraction today!

So here’s the thing — the attraction is GORGEOUS and definitely has that whole EPCOT fun, yet educational, vibe. But there was one thing about the attraction that surprised us the most — its bathroom. Yep, we’re going to have to add a NEW bathroom to the list of best bathrooms in Disney World because this one is UH-Mazing.

So you’ll find the bathroom in Journey of Water about halfway through the attraction, just before you reach Te-Fiti.

You’ll see a sign for the bathroom, and when you walk down that path you’re going to be very unimpressed with the outside of these bathrooms. BUT JUST WAIT.

When you open that simple door, you will be transported into a room that feels worthy of a seafarer like Moana. Pictures don’t really do those gorgeous, blue, ocean-like tiles on the walls any justice.

We feel like we’re in the ocean.

It’s just a single stall with a toilet and urinal, but it fits into the area with its chill water-like vibe. It just goes to show how Disney Imagineers consider ALL the details for everything.

Okay, Moana, we SEE YOU and your beautiful bathroom! Dare we say that this bathroom could contend with the Tangled bathrooms in Magic Kingdom? Probably not since the Moana bathroom is literally just the one room and Tangled has a lot more decor and theming inside, but we’re still very impressed.
