Oh, Gideon’s Bakehouse, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways…

We’ll count the ways in some of our favorite cookies and snacks because we can’t get enough of those MASSIVE cookies, the cookie bites, and those cake slices. But we think Gideon’s might have just blown our minds with its newest snack — but if you want it, you’ll need to head to Disney Springs quickly!

Okay, you might want to sit down for this because Gideon’s Bakehouse has debuted a special treat this weekend: the Chocolate Mousse Cookie Butter Cookie Delight. That’s six words of DELICIOUS, isn’t it? It’s Chocolate Mousse with a base of Cookie Butter Butterscotch Cookie topped with Chocolate Glaze and accented with crushed Biscoff.

Gideon’s has stated that although the cookie is served cold to keep the mousse firm, it’s best if you let it sit for a hot minute until the mousse gets “so soft that a spoon glides through.” This is a dessert you will ONLY get this weekend (October 28th and 29th), and you’ll need to get there quickly because it will probably sell out quickly. Believe it or not, though, these handcrafted desserts take over 8 hours to create from scratch!

This thing sounded so good we simply HAD to go and check it out! As you can probably guess, we LOVED this little dessert. The cookie butter is sweet, but the chocolate on top is rich and smooth. The chocolate and cookie butter flavors work together perfectly to create an addictive, creamy, luxurious treat.

So get to Disney Springs first thing in the morning and get your name on that virtual queue — a Gideon’s employee will get your name and phone number. You’ll get a text when it’s time to head into the small bake shop. If, for some reason, this dessert DOES sell out, there are plenty of other cookies and cake slices to choose from that are sure to make you happy.
