Calling all Costco members! We just found a way for you to save 10% on your upcoming Southwest flights!

Recent Costco news hasn’t all been good, as we just reported that membership prices are going to increase soon. However, we think this savings update just might be the thing to cheer you up!

Right now, you can buy a $500 Southwest Airlines eGift Card online at Costco.com. So what’s the savings? Each gift card only costs $449.99! That’s a 10% discount, which could mean big savings on your next few flights.

There’s a purchase limit of five gift cards per membership, and the eGift Cards are non-refundable. There are no hidden fees or expiration dates on these cards, so you can stock up now and then use them as you plan future trips.

These would also make great gifts if you’re looking for the perfect holiday present!

The cards can be redeemed at southwest.com, on the Southwest Airlines Mobile Apps and Mobile Website (only for initial flight booking), by calling Southwest Airlines at 1- 800-435-9792, or at Southwest Airlines ticket counter locations. Note that you can only use a maximum of three gift cards per passenger on each Southwest reservation.

The gift card will be sent to your email once you purchase it online (normally within an hour after you purchase it), and then you can redeem it! Here are the steps you must follow for online redemption:

• After you have selected your Southwest flights and input Passenger information, use the Gift Card as a form of payment
• Click on ‘Apply Travel Funds’ under the ‘Do you want to apply travel funds?’ section
• Input the Gift Card number and security code (PIN) in the designated location and click the button ‘Apply Funds’ — this will deduct the amount on the Gift Card from the total
• If a balance is left you will need to use another form of payment to pay the remaining balance

You can also print the page with the gift card number and security code and bring it to any Southwest Airlines ticket counter.

Make sure your email address is supplied in the e-mail field on the Shipping Address page when you purchase the gift card to make sure your eGift Card can be delivered. If you don’t see your eGift Card(s) within an hour of purchasing them, check your spam folder or Costco’s Digital Order Portal.

Don’t forget that Costco members can also save on Landry’s gift cards too, which can be applied to a few different restaurants in Disney World including the T-Rex Café in Disney Springs, Rainforest Café locations in both Disney Springs and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the Yak & Yeti Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
