Downtown Disney in California is a great place to shop and dine when you’re not in the parks!

Just a quick walk from the entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure, you can find many things to do in the area. It boasts 21 shopping locations and 22 dining options. But now we’ve just heard that we can expect to see some new additions to the hang-out location!

Disney has announced a new market area coming to Downtown Disney called Parkside Market! Parkside Market will be a new location where you can find four new restaurant locations all under one roof.

These new dining locations will bring, according to Disney, “diverse culinary creations” to the west end of Downtown Disney. So let’s take a look at each of these four new spots!

First up, Seoul Sister will be bringing us a Korean-forward menu with a California twist! This location will have Asian-inspired meals primarily focused on variations of bibimbap (Korean rice bowls).

Next, we’ll be getting Sip & Sonder, a Black, women-owned location that specializes in, “signature lattes, as well as fresh treats, frozen drinks and Caribbean-inspired bites.”

We’ll also be seeing a new chicken place, GG’s Chicken Shop! They’ll be serving up family-style chicken, salads, and classic dinner sides. This will be the first GG’s on the West Coast after the first brick-and-mortar was opened in Chicago earlier this year.

The last location coming to Parkside Market is set to be a second-story bar with excellent views and delicious cocktails! There will be a wide variety of options made with local ingredients by mixologists available such as “frozen lemonades, frozés, espresso martinis, shareable cocktails, and spirit-free elixirs.”

We’re excited about the updates coming to Downtown Disney! It’ll be great to have some new food spots to try out on your next vacation.
