Disney Gives Back to Florida Nonprofits with $1.5 Million in Grants

We love seeing Disney give back, especially to organizations that are creating positive changes in their communities.

Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World has called Florida “home” for 52 years as of October 1st, 2023. To celebrate the state, Disney has announced that they have made several donations to local nonprofit organizations in Florida.

Disney announced recently that they’re “giving new donations totaling $1.5 million to 19 nonprofit organizations creating positive change in the state of Florida.”

Recipients of these donations have done tremendous work in their communities, including supporting the arts, combating homelessness and hunger, establishing strong education and workforce development programs, and so much more.

Disney also stated that their Cast Member VoluntEARS have spent more than 115,000 hours in 2023 giving back to some of the recipients of the 2023 grants.
