The “Elemental” photo op that has been available in Pixar Place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios since June has been removed. Tables and chairs have been added to the area where the photo op used to be, turning it into a shaded seating spot.

The photo op was a large decal on this brick wall near the entrance to Pixar Place.
There are now red, blue, white, and black tables with silver chairs.
“Elemental” premiered in June with a rough opening weekend. But when it arrived on Disney+, it was the platform’s most viewed movie premiere of the year.
Pixar Place History
Before Toy Story Land was added to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Pixar Place was an area of the park where guests could enter the queue for Toy Story Midway Mania and meet Buzz and Woody. When construction on Toy Story Land was finally complete, both the entrance to Toy Story Midway Mania and “Toy Story” character meet and greets were moved into the land.
After the “Toy Story” characters left, Pixar Place location was turned into a Municiberg city block from the Pixar film “The Incredibles.” Here you could find a meet-and-greet with Edna Mode, purchase Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookies, and sometimes encounter the film’s superheroes.
After the park closed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the area became devoid of characters and attractions. It finally reopened with some updates in May 2023. Guests can meet Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, Frozone, and Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.” There’s a giant Luxo Jr. mural across from the Edna Mode Experience.
