Embarkation Day Delights: Our Disney Fantasy Halloween Cruise Adventure

Embarkation Day Delights: Our Disney Fantasy Halloween Cruise Adventure

We couldn’t wait to start our magical Halloween cruise on the Disney Fantasy. We had been planning this trip for months, and now the day was finally here.

We had booked the Walt Suite, which is one of the most luxurious suites on the ship. The suite has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a dining room. It also has a large balcony with a hot tub and stunning views of the ocean.

When we arrived at our suite, we were immediately greeted by a friendly cast member who welcomed us to the ship. We then checked out a bit of the ship and finally our suite. We were amazed by how spacious and beautiful it was. The balcony was especially impressive, with its sweeping views of the ocean and the Halloween-themed decorations.

After we had settled in, we headed to the concierge lounge for some snacks and drinks. We were greeted by another friendly cast member who helped us choose from a variety of delicious options, including Halloween-themed treats like pumpkin spice cupcakes and candy corn cookies. We also had the chance to meet another family on the cruise, and our kids quickly became friends.

In the afternoon, we decided to go to the pool deck. Our son, Jackson, was eager to try out the AquaDuck water slide, which was decorated for Halloween with spooky skeletons and pumpkins. Jackson had a blast riding the slide multiple times. We also spent some time swimming and relaxing in the pool, enjoying the warm Caribbean sun.

For dinner, we dined at the Royal Court restaurant, which was also decorated for Halloween. We started our meal with a variety of appetizers, including spider web crab cakes and bat-shaped bruschetta. For our main courses, my husband had the roasted filet steak, I had the roasted rack of lamb, and Jackson had the chicken strips. For dessert, we had the chocolate lava cake and Jackson had the ice cream sundae.

After dinner, we went to the pumpkin tree show. The show was a bit spookier than we expected, but it was a lot of fun. Jackson loved seeing all the Disney characters in their Halloween costumes. The show ended with a special appearance by Mickey Mouse, who led the audience in a sing-along of “Trick or Treat.”

We ended the day by going back to our room and relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect way to end a perfect day.

We were so happy with our first day on the Disney Fantasy Halloween cruise. We couldn’t wait to see what the rest of the cruise had in store for us. We were especially looking forward to the Halloween festivities, such as the costume parade, the trick-or-treating, and the Halloween movie marathon.

We’re both excited to spend the rest of the cruise with our family, making memories that will last a lifetime. We’re also looking forward to trying out all the different Halloween-themed activities and restaurants that the ship has to offer.
