We love eating our way around Disney World, and we’ll happily chow down on things like churros, corn dog nuggets, plastic cheese, and Mickey pretzels.
But…we have to admit that there are some VERY cool snacks in other Disney Parks, particularly at Tokyo Disney Resort. We’ve already shown you those ADORABLE Toy Story-themed Little Green Dumplings, but now we’re going to show you something that’s just as cool — if not cooler: Mickey bread!
Okay, so we know you can get Mickey Sourdough Bread at Disney California Adventure, but let’s talk about the Mickey Bread at Tokyo Disney Resort. It’s Mickey Long Bread, a “butter and salt” flavored baguette — shaped like Mickey Mouse! You can get it from Mama Biscotti’s at Tokyo DisneySea.
This bread was so popular when it was first introduced that you had to line up and get a ticket to get in line for it, but that’s no longer the case. However, it’s not available until 3PM, so you’ll need to time it just right to get some.
The bread isn’t warm when you get it — it’s basically pre-packaged bread, but we thought the texture was soft and it still tasted fresh. Plus — when you slice it, you get little Mickey-shaped bread slices. How fun is that?
We decided to pair it with some butter and jam packets we ordered from Amazon Japan, which was — obviously — the perfect decision.
Oh, and as an extra treat, check out our Instagram post below where we demonstrate an INNOVATIVE butter and jam dispenser. It went perfectly with our bread!
So, if you ever make it over to Tokyo Disney Resort, be sure to pick up some for yourself. It would make a fun souvenir or an inexpensive snack for your group.
