Packing for Disney World can feel like a massive hassle, and frankly, pretty intimidating.
We have tons of guides on our blog and YouTube channel to help you figure out what to pack, but let’s bring it down to the bare minimum for a second to help you decide. You’re already bringing your phone into the parks, but if you could only bring ONE other thing — here’s what our reporters said they would bring!
Phone Charger
The first thing on the list was a Phone Charger! Even the newest phones often don’t have the battery life to rival what a Disney Day requires of it. This is especially true if you’re taking lots of photos or videos, using Genie+, checking wait times often, or just using your phone a lot. The last thing you want is your phone to die while you’re trying to get a photo with Mickey! These FuelRod chargers are PERFECT for Disney World, because there are locations in the parks where you can exchange them for ones with a full charge!
Cooling Towels
Some of our reporters said they would bring a Cooling Towel! This is especially important if you’re traveling to Disney World during a warm time of year (which is 80% of the year in Florida, honestly). Heat exhaustion is a very real thing, and these cooling towels can really be helpful when you’re waiting in an outdoor queue and just need a tiny bit of a reprieve.
Water Bottle
The last thing our reporters highly recommended bringing was a Water Bottle. Not just any water bottle though — one that’ll keep your drink cool all throughout the day. Yes, we know carrying one of these around can be cumbersome, but trust us, having water wherever you go will help you immensely on those hot days. Hydration is incredibly important!
As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney tips and tricks!
