Listen to the New Disney ‘Frozen’ Podcast, ‘Forces of Nature’

Heads up, all you Frozen fans out there! I’m not ashamed to say that as a fully grown adult, my hand is up in the air, and I just don’t care. I loved the premise behind Frozen, even though I did tire of my (then) young daughter not letting go of Let It Go. Frozen 2, though a bit confusing, was a beautiful follow-up to the original film, again refusing to give in to the age-old idea that there had to be a traditional love interest. Instead, Elsa embraced herself in a coming-of-age story that saw her exploring her roots.

While we all wait impatiently for the third installment of the film series, Disney is offering us a little something to make the wait easier. It’s a podcast entitled Frozen Podcast: Forces of Nature that will take us on a 12-episode journey with new characters and adventures. Here is what Disney has to say about the new podcast series:

In Disney Frozen Podcast: Forces of Nature, Queen Anna has a lot on her plate – there are visitors in her Kingdom, a friend in need, and even the Duke of Weselton’s nephew skulking around – so when the Spirits of Nature start acting up, she knows she has to solve the problem – and fast – before things get more out of control. But when Anna and Elsa travel to the Enchanted Forest, they find mysterious copper machines that are disrupting the natural order of things. Who made these machines and what are they doing in the forest? And more importantly, how do Anna and Elsa stop them?

Disney Frozen Podcast: Forces of Nature is a 12-episode audio-first story that introduces new characters Queen Disa, Lord Wolfgang, and two magpies named Astrid and Magnus. Starting today, two episodes will be released each week. Queen Disa has an expertly scientific mind and loves to understand how all things work. Lord Wolfgang, the Duke of Weselton’s nephew, is on the journey to render assistance in any way he can. And Astrid and Magnus? Oh, they are just totally normal magpies. Nothing at all out-of-the-ordinary about them.
