The Miami TCG Convention this month will feature Disney Lorcana with appearances by a dozen of the game’s illustrators as well as the largest Lorcana tournament of 2023.
Miami TCG Convention
The convention takes place on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22. Doors open for VIPs at 9:30 a.m. and general admission opens at 10:00 a.m. The event ends at 6:00 p.m. each night. There will be 50,000 square feet of vendors, celebrities, trading cards, gaming, anime, and more at the Miami Airport Convention Center.
Illustrators and More Guests
The following Disney Lorcana illustrators will be in attendance:

- Cristian Romero
- Giulia Riva
- Juan Diego Leon
- Matthew Robert Davies
- Kendall Hale
- Cam Kendell
- Andrew Trabbold
- Kenneth Anderson
- Eri Welli
Individual autographs from these artists are $40, or you can purchase three for $100.
Disney animator Peter Raymundo will also be at the convention. Raymundo worked on “Lilo & Stitch,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and more. He will be available to sign and illustrate Disney Lorcana cards. His autographs are $45 and illustrations start at $35.
Comic artists Sam de la Rosa, Rodney Ramos, and Peter Smith are also attending. All three have worked on various Disney comics.
Voice actors in attendance will be Bryce Papenbrook, Megan Hollingshead, and Mark Britten.
Disney Lorcana OP Tour
The largest Lorcana tournament of the year will take place all weekend long. It does not require a convention badge but does require a separate $30 registration, which will be capped at 256. There were at least 215 signups already earlier this week. Click here to register for the event and here to register your deck. The deadline to register your deck is 9:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, October 21.
The tournament, hosted by Pro Play Games, will be in the MACC1 Room of the convention center. Check-in will start at 9 a.m. in the convention center lobby. Round one will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The top sixteen competition will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning.
The tournament will be streamed live on Twitch by Pro Play Games beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The grand prize is two Disney Lorcana cases, worth over $2,500. Second place gets one case. There will also be side events with additional prizes. Read more on the Pro Play Games website.
Tickets are now available here, starting at $27 for just Sunday. There will be a cosplay competition on both days with first place prizes of $350. Miami TCG Convention is raising money for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
