Looking for some spooky new backdrops for your Halloween photos? Universal Orlando has you covered! A brand new photo op experience has been added to CityWalk featuring “Five Nights at Freddy’s”, “Exorcist: Believer”, “M3GAN”, and “The Black Phone”. The immersive Blumhouse Photo Experience was set up for this year’s BlumFest and will continue to be available to all guests on Halloween Horror Nights 32 event nights. Step inside and take a look at these 4 Blumhouse movie photo ops.
Blumhouse Photo Experience
The Blumhouse photo experience is located between Fat Tuesday and Pat O’Brien’s on the second level of CityWalk. It’s free and open to everyone, but only available Wednesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
As you enter, you’ll see 4 photo ops set up, divided with the Blumhouse logo-shape between each one.
The photo ops are inspired by “The Exorcist: Believer,” “The Black Phone,” “M3GAN,” and the upcoming “Five Nights at Freddy’s”.
For “The Exorcist: Believer,” a bedroom scene is set up. Occasionally, the lights will flash red to a touch of evil to your picture. Stand with your back towards the bed to create the illusion of levitating above the bed. After taking your photo, rotate it to get the fun effect of being possessed.
When you rotate the photo, the advertisement for the movie will also be the correct way.
Another background shows a group of M3GANs in different poses. You can pretend you’re dancing with a M3GAN horde or grab your friends and do your best interpretation.
The next photo op is for “The Black Phone” and looks like a dark, creepy basement. The black phone is hanging on the wall, but the phone doesn’t work. Black balloons line both walls of the basement setting.
The face of the Grabber flashes on the walls.
The last photo op is for “Five Nights at Freddy’s”. Clips from the upcoming movie play on a series of security monitors stacked to the side.
The “Five Nights at Freddy’s” photo op has guests standing under a Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place sign in front of a backdrop of red-eyed animatronics. Freddy, Foxy, Bonnie, Cupcake, and Chica all can be seen in the background.
The Cinemark Theater has also been decorated for “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” Take a closer look at the Blumhouse photo op experience in our video below.
The Blumhouse photo opportunity will be open now through November 4, Wednesday to Sunday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. This experience is open for everyone. If you’re looking for even more photo ops, Universal Orlando Hotel guests can also check out Chucky’s Twisted Playground at Cabana Bay.
