The Disney Munchlings surprise has been revealed: a new plush and matching treats from Amorette’s Patisserie! The new plush is inspired by Heimlich, the caterpillar-turned-butterfly in “A Bug’s Life.” It’s available at World of Disney.
The treats were created by Chef Amanda Lauder, who appeared at Disney Springs Monday morning for a demonstration and meet and greet.
Guests who visited World of Disney between 10:00 a.m. and noon could purchase the new Heimlich plush and meet Chef Lauder.
Chocolate Piñata Heimlich with Candy Corn Crackle Plush – $19.99
The new plush is a “Chocolate Piñata,” just like one of the treats available next door at Amorette’s. He’s scented with a sweet smell.
Heimlich is depicted as a blue and green piñata holding a candy corn piece. It’s a limited release plush and guests can only purchase two per transaction.
Chef Lauder signed the boxes of the plush available this morning.
The box includes information about Chef Lauder’s history with Disney. She was selected to open The Ganachery in 2015, making her The Walt Disney Company’s first and only Chef Chocolatier.
Stay tuned for our reviews of the real Heimlich chocolate piñata and cake.
