Add some international flare to your next pub outing with an item or two from the new Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room merchandise collection that recently debuted at Walt Disney World Resort. The line debuted at the resort earlier this month with a new button-up shirt; we found the new items in The Crown & Crest shop in the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT.
Rose & Crown T-Shirt – $36.99
A “Rose and Crown Pub & Dining Room” logo appears in the center of this dark green crewneck t-shirt. The shirt itself matches the shade of green found on the bottom of the exterior of the pub section of the venue.
The words “Rose” and “Crown” appear in the middle of the shirt in a white Old English-like font. The words are outlined in green and gold, with that same shade of gold used for general detailing throughout the icon and the word “AND” that appears between “Rose” and “Crown.”
A gold outline of the Rose & Crown building facade appears beneath the typography. “Pub & Dining Room” is written in white across a draped banner beneath the building. A crown outline appears at the top of the icon while a rose appears at the bottom, an obvious reference to the name of the restaurant.
“EPCOT World Showcase” is printed in white on the left sleeve.
Rose & Crown Soccer Jersey – $49.99
Football hasn’t come home since 1966, but you can take this “Rose & Crown” football (soccer) jersey home with you today. It’s the same shade of green as the aforementioned crewneck t-shirt and features grey shoulders.
A Rose & Crown logo is printed across the chest where an advertisement would typically be placed. It’s styled after the restaurant sign that appears above the windows on the exterior of the Rose & Crown Pub, even including the “9” on either side of the words.
“Pub and Dining Room” is printed beneath the pseudo-advertisement, with “EPCOT World Showcase” printed beneath that. A white icon depicting a rose and royal crown appears over the left breast, while a gold emblem featuring the same imagery and additional Rose & Crown branding appears over the right. “The Pint of No Return” appears over the latter icon.
Rose & Crown Cropped T-Shirt – $36.99
While the weather in the real United Kingdom doesn’t afford many opportunities to wear cropped t-shirts, you can beat the central Florida heat with this Rose & Crown crop top. The shirt is black and features yet another version of the Rose & Crown logo at its center.
It’s a colorized version of one of the logos that appeared on the previously released button-up shirt. It’s a green circular emblem that features a large “RC” at its center, with “Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room” written around the exterior of the circle. The name is broken up by “Est. 1982” written in gold, and that color is shared by the emblem’s crown and rose icons that appear above and beneath it, respectively. “EPCOT World Showcase” is again written beneath the logo.
Rose & Crown Hat – $29.99
This black hat features the same building-containing logo that appears on the aforementioned green t-shirt. It keeps its white-and-gold colorway and is printed on the left side of the crown. Its “Pub & Dining Room” banner is flanked by white text reading “United Kingdom” and “World Showcase.”
A gold banner emerges from the seam and onto the visor. It reads “Aged Over Forty Years” in gold text and is topped with a white “40,” a reference to Rose & Crown’s 1982 opening date.
“United Kingdom” is embroidered above the backstrap in gold.
Rose & Crown Hoodie – $54.99
This Rose & Crown hoodie shares many motifs and design elements with the button-up shirt that kicked off this collection. It’s a similar shade of dark red and features the same “Rose and Crown Pub” logo that’s part of that shirt’s pattern. The icon reads “Rose and Crown Pub” in a gold-outlined white font.
The outline that appears underneath “Crown” features abstract detailing at its edges and creates the image of a banner. The EPCOT logo is printed beneath the text in gold. It’s flanked by type reading “United Kingdom” and “World Showcase.”
Rose & Crown T-Shirt – $
This black crewneck t-shirt combines two of the many restaurant icons used throughout this line. Printed over the left breast is the “RC” circular emblem that appears on the cropped t-shirt. It’s primarily white on this shirt, with some gold and green detailing.
The icon from the right breast of the soccer jersey appears on the back of the shirt. The rose and crown icons and other supporting detailing are gold, while the “Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room” text is white.
Rose & Crown Magnetic Bottle-Opener – $11.99
Perhaps you’re not feeling a night out at the pub and would rather enjoy a few beverages (soft or hard) in the comfort of your own home. In that case, this magnetic bottle opener has you covered.
The same “Rose and Crown Pub & Dining Room” logo from the green t-shirt and hat is printed in the center of the circular magnet. A gold ring with a red outline is printed around the black circle. Bottle-cap ridges appear around the edges of the magnet.
The back of the magnet is silver and contains the actual bottle-opening tool. Magnets flank the bottle opener.
Rose & Crown Glass Mug – $14.99
Sip a Newcastle Brown Ale or any beverage of your choosing out of this dual-sided glass mug. It features a brown, gold, and white icon; “Don’t Be a Mug, Meet Me Down The Pub” appears in a brown serif font, surrounded by elegant and swirling gold and white detailing.
A version of the “Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room” wordmark seen on the soccer jersey appears in gold at the bottom of the mug. The type is flanked by foaming beer mug icons.
The decal is applied to each side of the glass mug.
Rose & Crown Coaster Set – $24.99
If you need a place to set your glass mug, there’s no better place than on one of these four Rose & Crown coasters. One of the coasters is green and features the intricate gold icon from the right breast of the soccer jersey and the back of the black t-shirt; “The Pint of No Return” joke has returned to its peak in white text. Another coaster is black and features the facade-featuring logo seen on the green t-shirt, hat, and bottle opener.
The other two coasters in the set are the same shade of red. One features the same “Rose and Crown Pub” logo from the hoodie, an item with which this coaster also shares its base color. “United Kingdom” and “World Showcase” are printed on white and either side of the word “Rose.” “Aged Over Forty Years” is written in white across a gold banner and shield detail atop the type. “Established 1982” appears beneath the word “Pub” in gold.
The other coaster features the “Don’t Be a Mug, Meet Me Down The Pub” icon from the glass mug. All of the coasters contain the official EPCOT logo in gold beneath each logo.
Rose & Crown
The Rose & Crown is an authentic British pub and restaurant located inside the United Kingdom Pavilion in the World Showcase neighborhood of EPCOT. The establishment contains two sections: the Rose & Crown Pub, which is themed to a traditional British corner pub and serves pints of beer, wine, and mixed drinks in addition to soft beverages, and the Rose & Crown Dining Room, which offers traditional British cuisine such as Fish and Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers and Mash, and more.
A live pianist performs at the establishment six times per day. Given its scenic location on the edge of World Showcase Lagoon, the Rose & Crown is a popular location from which guests watch EPCOT’s nighttime spectaculars. Walt Disney World Resort is already offering dining packages at the restaurant for “Luminous: The Symphony of Us,” the new nighttime spectacular that debuts at EPCOT on December 5. The package will provide guests with an authentic British meal and a breathtaking view of the show; it costs $89 per adult and $39 per child (aged 3-9).
