Halloween can be one day of the year that you really let yourself go all out with the dress-up, and what’s more fun than getting to dress up for Halloween AT Disney World?
This is Halloween!
We spotted this fantastic family dressed up as characters from Moana!
Thanks, @joelpowzino81
Te Fiti, Maui, and Moana hit Disney’s Hollywood Studios park early this morning in full dress ready to get their Halloween fun on. Maui says “You’re welcome” by the way!
We also spotted a few super characters over at Magic Kingdom!
Thank you, @goldenbb__
Princess Daisy and Luigi of the Super Mario Brothers were here to save the day (and fill their empty bellies with tasty fall treats). Looks like they were ready for a fun-filled day bright and early this morning too!

Minnie and Mickey Mouse ears are staple accessories for in the Disney parks.
So many options!
You can find a variety of ears all through the parks, on shopDisney, or just about any department store. They are a big deal for a Disney fan. Occasionally, Disney will partner with big-name brands to come out with very fancy ears and now we’re seeing that Disney has added another set of these special ears.

We saw some very sparkly and very EXPENSIVE bridal ears designed by Vera Wang back in 2021 that sold for $600.

And now, Disney has come out with a new pair of Swarovski Minnie ears! These are covered in Swarovski crystals– bow and ears. These are certainly a stunning way to pay tribute to the 100th Anniversary.
We don’t know exactly how much they’ll be, but we can expect it will be a pretty significant amount. The ears are available now at Disneyland, and we expect them to show up at Disney World. They’ll be arriving online soon, too! Until we can purchase them from home, here are a couple of other beautiful 100th Anniversary ears that you CAN get online.
These may not have Swarovski crystals all over them, but they are still shimmery and beautiful. The silver is gorgeous with the characters’ platinum and purple outfits. They’re currently on sale, so don’t miss them before they’re sold out!
If you prefer a pair of ears that are less platinum but still adorable and featuring a beloved character, then you might love these Enchanted ears. They feature Pip from the movie and pretty lace and floral details. These are part of the Disney Decades collection for the 100th Anniversary.

Universal Destinations & Experiences and Wendover Housing Partners will host a groundbreaking ceremony for their new affordable housing community, Catchlight Crossings, this Wednesday morning.
Universal’s Catchlight Crossings
Catchlight Crossings is a new affordable housing solution near Universal Orlando Resort that features 1,000 units, on-site amenities and services, retail and play areas, and easy access to transportation.
We first reported on the affordable housing site when Universal partnered with Wendover Housing Partners and set aside 20 acres of land back in 2021. The community is created through Universal’s Housing for Tomorrow initiative, which aims to “provide economically diverse housing options as part of our commitment to healthy communities” and address “the primary focus areas identified by our county leadership and will help provide innovative solutions that move our community forward – for everyone.”
Catchlight Crossings was also created in line with Orange County’s Housing for All initiative, launched by Mayor Jerry L. Demings to “prioritize short and long-term solutions to address the affordable housing crisis in Orange County.” The Housing For All Task Force created a 10-year Action Plan to address housing affordability and supply.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be on November 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at 5621 Destination Parkway, Orlando, FL. The community will be located east of the Orange County Convention Center, near the International Drive corridor, which is expected to see an increase in tourism with the 2025 opening of Epic Universe, the third Universal Orlando Resort gate located near I-Drive.
The on-site services for residents at Catchlight Crossings will include a tuition-free preschool, medical offices, a transportation center, and programs in partnership with the University of Central Florida. Amenities include resort-style pools, a fitness center, game rooms, and technology cafés.
Stay tuned for UPNT’s coverage of the groundbreaking ceremony.
